Member Types

1	Honorary Fellow Members of HKAN	Any person in Paediatric field whose academic achievement, prominence or contribution recognized by the Council of Hong Kong Academy of Nursing as nominated by Hong Kong College of Paediatric Nursing (HKCPN). List of Honorary Fellows of Hong Kong Academy of Nursing in Paediatric Field
2	Fellow Members	Ordinary Member who passed HKCPN Fellow Exit Assessment, and nominated by Hong Kong College of Paediatric Nursing (HKCPN) and recognized by HKAN. Grandfathers / Grandmothers - are RNs with over 15 years in Paediatric nursing practice within 2 years of the establishment of the HKAN (on or before 12 May 2014). Among the 15 years of specialty-related experience, 7 years must be in the Paediatric specialty (as reflected in the Fellow title in application), including the most recent and current 5 years; and has demonstrated significant contribution to specialty service development, and in the opinion of the Council, the conduct of his / her practice is consistently good throughout such years and at present. For those who have retired, the last experience practicing in the specialty must not exceed 5 years at the time of application. List of Fellows of Hong Kong College of Paediatric Nursing 2024
3	Ordinary Members	RN completed courses and training prescribed in advanced paediatric nursing including theory and guided clinical practice and passed HKCPN membership examination, nominated by HKCPN and recognized by HKAN. List of Ordinary Member 2024
4	Associate Members	RN who has one year experience in Paediatric related services or is currently working or studying in Paediatric related areas with 15 CNE points as approved by HKCPN. List of Associate Member 2024
